Who we are?

Volleyball England is the national governing body for volleyball, beach volleyball, and sitting volleyball across the country. We’re here to grow the game, support communities, and make it easier for everyone, from grassroots to elite - to enjoy and access the sport.

Why we partnered with kitround

Every year, good kit goes unused while young players struggle to afford what they need. Our partnership with kitround brings circularity into volleyball, helping players and clubs recycle kit for the good of the game, while funding those who need a helping hand.

Our objectives together

Together with kitround, we launched a national Kit For Good campaign, helping volleyball communities donate, reuse, and redistribute pre-loved kit across the sport.

  • Over 100 items donated at our first U18 Super Series event
  • Thousands more expected during the 2025–26 indoor season
  • Dedicated VolleyStore on kitround.com, where donated kit finds a new home
  • Donations raise funds for the new Volleyball England Foundation Hardship Fund, supporting young athletes on the national talent pathway
  • Clubs taking part will earn rewards for their donations
  • kitbins installed at major events including Super Series, Opening Weekend, Junior Grand Prix, and Super League Live matches nationwide

Every item donated helps unlock access to the sport while reducing waste. It’s a collective action with community impact at its heart.

“This is such an important partnership for us to demonstrate how the circular economy can really drive participation and accessibility for Volleyball.”

What's next?

For the 2025–26 season, we’ll expand the Kit For Good campaign with new donation challenges, club spotlights, and video storytelling from across the community. Our goal: 500+ items donated, and more young people supported through the hardship fund. Let’s keep the momentum going and give every kit a second chance to make a difference.

Why we exist

In the UK an estimated 100,000 tonnes of sportswear ends up in landfill each year.
