Who we are?

England Netball is the national governing body for netball in England, the country’s biggest female team sport played weekly and bi-weekly. We are responsible for developing the game at every level, from grassroots participation to elite performance.

Why we partnered with kitround

Our Adventure Strategy commits us to being consciously sustainable, embedding values into action. Partnering with kitround helps us take meaningful steps to reduce kit waste, while supporting causes that use netball to build brighter futures.

Our objectives together

This partnership will enable surplus netball kit to be resold through kitround.com, with proceeds directed to the Netball Development Trust (NDT), a charity using the power of sport to deliver leadership, education, and health outcomes for girls in underserved communities.

  • Phase one will see NDT receive 100% of net proceeds
  • Donated items will be cleaned, listed and shared via the England Netball kitshop
  • The model will support grassroots netball in the UK and globally, starting in Uganda, Kenya and Ghana

"Through kitround, we’re turning old kit into new opportunities, aligning our sport with sustainability and global social impact."

Charlotte Malyon, Facilities Development Manager

What's next?

Netball Development Trust volunteers will use the proceeds to deliver more netball sessions, health conversations, and reused kit to girls across East Africa, helping them stay in school, understand their health, and grow in confidence through play. Together, we’ll make every donation count.

Why we exist

In the UK an estimated 100,000 tonnes of sportswear ends up in landfill each year.
